What?! I am not a LEO anymore.. New Zodiac Sign

Ophiuchus - a "new" zodiac sign. The only sign based off a real man. The physical representation of the sign if a man holding a serpent (snake). Ophiuchus is also known as Serpentarius.

This is actually not a new zodiac sign. It is not followed by all zodiac calendars. Tropical Astrology does not perceive this as an actual zodiac sign. The real this sign is not followed or widely known is because the Sun only spends 19 days in this sign so astrologers just ignore it. For 19 days, the Sun travels through the constellation Ophiuchus before going into Sagittarius. (In case you did not realize: the zodiac signs are all constellations - the path the Sun takes) None the less, the sign is getting a lot of attention recently so here is are the human attributes of the sign:
- interpreter of dreams and promoinitions
- attracts good luck and fruitful blessings
- seeker of peace and harmony
- doctor of medicine or science
- adds/increases together
- poetical, inventive nature
- seeks higher education and wisdom
- supervisor of work
- fame (grand or misunderstood)
- longevity
- architect and reaches for the stars (figuratively and literally)
- number 12 is very important
- foresight and good fortune to benefit from hard times
- has secret enemies
- many jealous of this subject
- notable father (apple of father's eye when young)
- high position in life expected (though legend and most fame comes after death)
- feelings of granular, wise, genius mentality
- receives the favor of those in authority

Ophiuchus is the only zodiac sign which is based off of a real man. This man, Imhotep, lived in Egypt during the 27th century BCE. This man is eerily similar to Joseph, son of Jacob, from the Torah.

"Astronomer Parke Kunkle tells NBC news that due to the Earth's changing alignment in the last 3000 years, the sign you are born into now are different than they were long ago. Plus, some astronomers believe there is a 13th Zodiac sign called Ophiuchus, which falls between Scorpio and Sagittarius.

"This is not something that happened today. This has gone on for thousands of years," says Kunkle. "Because of this change of tilt, the Earth is really over here in effect and Sun is in a different constellation than it was 3,000 years ago."

So astrology enthusiasts should be using these dates, which reflect the current alignment of the Sun, Earth and stars." NOVEMBER 30 - DECEMBER 17

MOST IMPORTANTLY: This sign is not new. It has been around for a while. Not all astrologers realize this sign - therefore you do not have to either. If your sign gets changed due to this "new" sign, then ignore it. If you realize the change is more understanding of your personality, follow the "new" sign.
